BLOOD DONATION IS IT IMPORTANT ?

Blood donation from the public is very important, as you know Thalassemia Intermedia and Major patients do need regular blood transfusion in order to survive and live on a happy life. Different countries and places have different organisation are now encouraging public to donate blood regularly if you're healthy. In Singapore, there're Singapore Red Cross Society which is part of a world-wide organisation. Everyday the blood bank help to meet the transfusion needs of all tyhe patients in our country. When there're stortage of blood or certain blood group blood. They might sometimes provide Thalassemia patients like 2 units of blood instant of 3, when patients HB level is not that low compare to these with lower HB levels will received 3 units of blood kind of situation. So these who are receiving 2 units of blood will have to come a week or so eariler to match up with their blood requirement needee. Singapore needs an average of 350 units of blood daily. All blood collected are distribute to hospital for various purpose, blood is during bone marrow transfusion, for leukaemia patients, Thalassemia patients needing regular blood transfusion, during some surgeries and for accident victims and more. So please start saving life by simply donating blood for these healthy adult. That's basically for this blog post, I will see you later :)
